Licensed in Arizona

We’re licensed in Utah and Arizona. Here’s the honest version of what that means for where we’ll actually bring a machine.

Straight answer

Licensed statewide. Local on the Strip.

Plenty of contractor websites list every county in the state and hope you don’t check. Here is how it actually works for us.

Diggin’ Riggin’ is licensed in Arizona, so we can legally take work anywhere in the state. But we are based in Apple Valley, Utah, twenty minutes from Colorado City. Northern Arizona is our backyard. Phoenix is not.

What that means for you

  • Colorado City, Centennial Park, Cane Beds, Moccasin and Fredonia: we’re local. Same response as a Utah job.
  • Beaver Dam and Littlefield: about an hour and a quarter, down through St. George and the gorge. We schedule those as blocks.
  • Page, Kingman, Flagstaff and further in: call us. For the right project we will travel, and we will tell you honestly whether the mobilization makes sense for what you are trying to spend.
  • Anywhere else in Arizona: we are licensed for it, but we are not going to pretend we are around the corner.

FAQ

Arizona questions

Are you actually licensed in Arizona?

Yes. Diggin' Riggin' is licensed in Utah and Arizona.

Will you travel to Phoenix or Tucson?

Realistically, no. We are licensed statewide but we are based in Apple Valley, Utah. Hauling equipment five hours each way makes your project more expensive than it needs to be, and you deserve to hear that instead of a yes.

What is the furthest you regularly go into Arizona?

Beaver Dam and Littlefield down the Virgin River Gorge, and Fredonia out east. Both are within about an hour and a half. Anything past that we will talk through with you honestly.

Does Arizona permitting work differently from Utah?

Yes, especially for septic. Arizona uses a Notice of Intent to Discharge under a Type 4.02 general permit through the county, and utility locates go through Arizona 811 instead of Blue Stakes. We handle both systems.
